Landslide stabilisation; ground improvement, slope modelling, inclinometers, back-analysis and 2D numerical analyses.

About the project

Geotechnical improvement works were carried out to stabilise a landslide reaching a depth of 15 m and to enable construction of the chairlift line planned in the same area.

Geotechnical and soil parameter reports, settlement and bearing capacity calculations, a ground improvement report and a liquefaction potential assessment were prepared; slope stability modelling, evaluation of inclinometer readings and back-analysis led to a remedial design, and limit equilibrium and two-dimensional numerical analyses were performed.
