Landslide investigations; inclinometer evaluation, back-analysis, slope stability and 2D numerical analyses.
About the project
Stabilisation works were carried out for the landslide near Hasan Doğan Stadium at Karabük University, with a depth ranging from approximately 6 to 10 m.
The work included planning of surface and subsurface investigations and in-situ and laboratory tests, slope monitoring, slope stability modelling, evaluation of inclinometer readings and back-analysis; a remedial design was prepared, and limit equilibrium and two-dimensional numerical analyses were performed.
